Different Ways Of Selling Your Home Quickly

Different Ways Of Selling Your Home Quickly

If you are selling your home quickly then the first thing that you need to accept is that you may not realise the full market value of your home.  This is not always easy to accept, particularly if you are going through a difficult time financially but accept it you must if you are going to sell your home quickly and realise a fair price for your home at the same time.  If you hang on to get a better price, then you may find that the better price never comes along.

Quick Home Buying Companies

There are lots of companies that will buy your home and many can do this within a matter of a couple of weeks.  These companies certainly have a role to play when it comes to the selling your home really quickly.  However you should be aware that these companies may offer you anything between 60 or 75% of the true value of your home and so it is always worth having a quote from more than one company so that you can get the best possible price for your home!

Quick Sale Estate Agencies

These types of companies have only been around for the last 3 years but seem to be making some headway in selling houses. Bascially, these companies will look to sell your home closer to the market value whilst charging a selling fee paid on completion.

Sell And Rent Back Companies

Some companies specialise in buying your home and then rent it back to you.  This means that you can continue to live at home and you do not have the disruption of having to move and if you have children they can remain in school and no and really needs to know you sold your home.

Sell and Rent back is now regulated by the FSA.  It is a legal requirement for the company to be registered with the FSA.

Do It Yourself

You could try selling your home is really quickly yourself by having an Internet campaign to sell your home with you trying to generate interest yourself.  You could even approach your local newspaper and see if they would help give you some media coverage about your campaign to sell your home.

But the reality is that these schemes do not generally generate a great deal of interest and you may well find that after two or three weeks of intense effort, very little interest has been shown and your home is still unsold.  You can find lots of books on the Internet telling you how to sell your house within a month but whilst it may be possible to do this it is not always possible to do this you and so you should be wary of any scheme that seems too good to be true because it probably is!

Auctions

Selling your home at auction can be quick, but it is not an instant sale.  Prior to the auction there will be a time gap for people to come to your home and look at it and for interest to be generated.  Also there is no guarantee that your home will actually sell and you could find that you wait during the period leading up to the auction but then there is no sale at the auction itself and by this time you have waited for over 6 weeks or so and all you have at the end of it is no sale.  So treat auctions as being potentially useful but not a guaranteed method of selling your home quickly!
