To answer this question it is better to think about whether or not you actually want to sell your home. If you want to sell your home then you definitely need to engage with Rightmove and ensure that your home is advertised on their website, but if you aren’t always serious about selling your home then it doesn’t really matter. Rightmove are actually the leading property website within the UK. This is because they actually have more than 80 per cent of the property portal market share. Now that is actually a phenomenal statistic and shows just how successful Rightmove are. In fact they leave all their competition standing. They really are the number one.

That’s right, you can forget big sites such as Yahoo, because Rightmove is more popular because it offers so many properties on just one, easy to use website.
So if you are serious about making sure that your home sells then really Rightmove is the only logical way of ensuring that you are able to maximise your chances of selling, because through Rightmove you will reach a massive target audience that local Estate Agents will simply never achieve, no matter how competent they are.
